Now, I’m not saying you should be out here giving away full sessions to everyone who asks. But strategic trades? Those can be pure magic. Savannah is a small city where word of mouth is everything, and if you can get the right people talking about your work, your business will explode.


Mini sessions are the easiest way to do this. Trade with a local influencer, a wedding planner, a boutique owner—someone whose audience overlaps with yours. Even just a handful of beautifully curated trades can create a ripple effect that brings in actual paying clients.


The key is to be intentional. Don’t trade just for the sake of it. Think about who has access to your dream clients, set clear expectations, and make sure you’re getting value in return.
